Would you be able to try the different XMP options in BIOS with all 4 RAM sticks attached? Okay, so this is the final answer I got from the conversation from ASUS support. If anyone has a found a solution or tried the newest 2103 BIOS then maybe you can share your findings so we can find a solution to this little mess! I have also updated to the BIOS version 2004 which was the latest at that date but now there's a new version for improvements to the 13'th GEN Intel CPU's which I have not yet tested.įor further reference. firmware update I can only come to the conclusion that the BIOS has done something to the motherboard. Granted that my sticks (KHX2666C15D4/8G) aren't on the QVL for this motherboard (Asus TUF Z690-Plus Wifi D4) but worked flawlessly before the 10. However, when I run them in all 4 slots Windows itself tells me I have a memory issue and pretty much everything crashes. The sticks themselves are fine and I have done extensive tests on them with all possible physical memory allocations and without error. And after that I can no longer use my Kingston Fury 8x4GB sticks at the same time.

Windows Update decided to download and start a BIOS update as I missed that it was a BIOS firmware in that download. This is pretty much how it happened for me aswell.
